Colombian drummer and percussionist, lives in Bogotá and currently working with bands and projects such as The Hall Effect, The Joint, Andres Alvarez, Los Vagabundos, Amalia Low, La Orquesta de Cuerdas de Bogotá, touring Colombia and internationally in countries such as United States, Brazil and Argentina.
He begans to play drums in 2005, at the age of 16 took classes with maestro Plinio Córdoba, recognized as one of the pioneers of jazz in the country.
As of 2008 he begans to work professionally as an active member or sessionist of bands and artists in various musical genres such as: Hugo Bistolfi (Rata Blanca), Noiszart, Sigma, Abadoom, Paulo Cuevas, Neurosis inc, Thunderblast, Vorpal Nomad, ATTA, Orquesta Sinfónica Unimusica (U. Juan N. Corpas), The Brainwash Machine, Whitin the Hour, Laurie, Broken Zip, Emmanuel Contreras & Mayelé Joropo Urbano, FOSBO (Fundación Orquesta Sinfónica de Bogotá) among others.
He has shared the stage with bands from the international scene such as: Epica, Skid Row, Sirenia, Angra, Grave Digger, Saratoga, War Cry, Sepultura, Lita Ford, Quiet Riot, Blaze Bayley.
In 2012 he was awarded the award for best metal drummer at the Rock Latinoamérica awards.
As an independent drummer, had the opportunity to carry out workshops -clinicals (showroms) in countries such as Brazil (Expomusic 2016), Argentina (Baquetas Liverpool Showroom 2014) and Ecuador (Bataka Drumfest 2019) and to give private classes with recurring students in the city of Bogota.

Since 2019 he works with the renowned cruise company Norwegian NCL with the American band Southern Broncos on board their ships, being part of the entertainment shows for their passengers.

Inició su carrera a los 16 años de la mano de emblemáticos maestros como: Plinio Córdoba, Bjarne Jannik Kjaer y Kenny Grohowsky explorando diferentes estilos musicales combinados con elementos de la música autóctona colombiana, brasilera, ritmos latinos y rock.
Su paso por la escena rock latinoamericana incluyó agrupaciones de renombre como ‘Noiszart’, ‘Sigma’, ‘Thunderblast’, ‘Neurosis’ y ‘Vorpal Nomad’; alternadas con participaciones dentro del folclor colombiano y la música instrumental clásica como: ‘Emmanuel Contreras & Mayelé Joropo Urbano’ y la ‘Orquesta Sinfónica Unimusica de la U. Juan N. Corpas’. Con ‘Vorpal Nomad’ grabó dos trabajos que incluyeron la participación de los productores Piet Sielck (Iron Savior, Blind Guardian) para el disco "Hyperborea" y Matt Smith (Theocracy) para el sencillo "Hocus Pocus" cuyas copias fueron editadas para Alemania, Rusia, Japón, Brasil, Canada, USA. En el 2012 gana el premio a ‘Mejor Baterista de Metal’ en los premios Rock Latinoamérica. Su técnica logra trascender hasta Brasil y Argentina, lugares en donde realiza talleres y clínicas auspiciadas por sus marcas patrocinadoras. Recientemente integra su talento con otros proyectos musicales como la ‘Orquesta de Cuerdas de Bogotá’, ‘The Joint’, ‘Jade’, ‘Kenji Ota’ y ‘Amalia Low’, reconocida escritora de audiolibros para niños, resaltando ‘El Corazón de la Tierra’, obra que fue lanzada en la pasada ‘Feria del Libro’ en la capital colombiana.
